- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,080 - $1,160

Job Requirements – Sterile Processing Technician Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent travel experience as a Sterile Processing Tech (experienced travelers only)
- Lead or charge experience preferred (Central Sterile leadership experience a plus)
- Valid Washington (WA) or Compact Allied license in hand
- Required Certification: CBSPD, IAHCSMM, HSPA or equivalent
- Experience with Epic charting system and SPD Instrument Tracking (SPM)
- References: Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last three years
Responsibilities – Hospital Sterile Processing Technician (SPD)
- Perform all aspects of sterile processing: cleaning, inspecting, assembling, wrapping, sterilizing, and storing surgical instruments and trays
- Operate and monitor sterilization equipment including Steam autoclaves, Steris, Sterrad, ultrasonic cleaners, and Automated Endoscope Reprocessors
- Process and handle specialized scopes and surgical equipment: bronchoscopes, colonoscopes, robotics, ortho/total joints, transplant, vascular instruments, and more
- Maintain high-level disinfection standards, perform biological and chemical indicator testing, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and selection of wrapping materials; maintain accurate instrument tracking (SPM)
- Support the OR and clinical teams by preparing sterile case carts and instrument sets for surgeries
- Adhere to hospital and unit protocols for infection prevention, patient safety, and sterile technique
- Take on extra responsibilities and support the team; lead/charge duties expected if applicable
