Job Details — Travel Nurse RN | Newberg, OR 97132

• Location: Newberg, OR 97132 (Oregon travel nursing job)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,850 – $1,950
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:00), 3 shifts per week (night shift travel nurse)
• Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a Level IV Trauma Center (Med-Surg Tele RN, telemetry nurse)
• Patient Ratios: 1:4 for telemetry, 1:5 for Med/Surg
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
• Floating: May float within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
• Charting: Epic (experience required)
• Parking: Free on-site

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Oregon (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (Med-Surg RN, telemetry experience required)
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred (travel nurse/RN experience)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic charting system (required)
• Must be trained in both telemetry and Med/Surg nursing
• Ability to float between units and facilities as needed
• Must have a vehicle for assignment
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years

Responsibilities — Med-Surg Telemetry Nurse Duties

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on Med/Surg Telemetry units (Med-Surg Tele RN responsibilities)
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, manage dysrhythmias, and respond to rapid response/code situations (telemetry nurse skills)
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and provide central/PICC line care
• Perform phlebotomy, blood product administration, and feeding tube care
• Utilize isolation precautions and PPE as appropriate
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic (Epic charting experience)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PT, RT, pharmacy, and social services
• Float to other units or affiliate hospitals as required by staffing needs
• Participate in self-scheduling and work every other weekend
