Join a leading short-term acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center as a Hospital EEG Technologist (Travel) in Spokane, Washington (99204). This travel EEG tech job supports inpatient and outpatient EEG services for pediatric through geriatric patients in a collaborative neurodiagnostics team. Ideal candidates are Registered EEG Technologists (R.EEGT.) or equivalent, comfortable with long-term monitoring and portable EEG in ICU/NICU/PICU settings.

Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
- Location: Spokane, WA (Spokane County) — hospital EEG job at a Level II Trauma Center
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,520 – $1,630
- Setting: Hospital — inpatient & outpatient EEG studies (pediatric and adult)
- Shift: Day shift, 4 x 10-hour shifts (07:00 – 17:00)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: May float between units and sister facilities
- Charting / EMR: Epic experience required
- Parking: Free on-site parking
Required Qualifications – EEG Technologist
- Minimum 1 year of EEG technologist experience (first-time travelers welcome)
- Registered EEG Technologist (R.EEGT.) or equivalent EEG certification/registration
- Valid Washington (WA) or Compact Allied license in hand at time of submission
- BLS (American Heart Association) current
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Community hospital and Level II/Level I trauma experience required
- Proficiency with: Ambulatory EEG, Sleep EEG, Sleep-Deprived EEG, Long-Term Monitoring (LTM), Video Monitoring/EMU, ECI Brain Death studies, electrode placement, portable ICU/NICU/PICU recording
- Comfortable working with neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inpatient and outpatient EEG studies for pediatric and adult patients, following hospital protocols
- Conduct specialized procedures including sleep-deprived EEGs, continuous long-term monitoring (LTM), EMU studies, and cerebral death (ECI) testing
- Apply and remove electrodes with precise placement to ensure high-quality recordings
- Operate portable EEG equipment in ICU, NICU, and PICU settings and perform bedside EEGs
- Document findings, procedures, and patient information accurately in Epic
- Collaborate with neurologists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Float between units and sister facilities as needed and work every other weekend as part of the schedule
