Job Details

• Location: Zanesville, OH (Genesis Coshocton Medical Center & Genesis Hospital)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,440 - $2,620
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Schedule:
  • Initial location (Genesis Coshocton Medical Center): Five 8-hour day shifts (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.), no weekends
  • Main campus (Genesis Hospital): Four 10-hour day shifts (6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.), every fifth weekend (6:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.)
• Setting: Hospital – general abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts ultrasound
• Employment Type: Travel, On-site

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in a high-volume, fast-paced hospital setting
• RDMS certification with OB/GYN and Abdominal designations (required)
• Active BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Epic EMR experience for image and record documentation
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-focused skills
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and multiple campus locations
• New graduates will not be considered

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality general abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts ultrasound examinations per hospital protocols
• Provide accurate diagnostic imaging and collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff
• Document findings and maintain accurate patient records using Epic EMR
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to infection control standards during procedures
• Manage workflow in a busy hospital sonography department and assist with weekend coverage as required
• Participate in team communication and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
