Required Qualifications — LTAC RN / Travel Nurse
- Minimum 2 years recent LTAC, telemetry, or critical care RN experience
- Active Missouri RN or multi-state RN license (attach license to resume)
- ACLS & BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Demonstrated ventilator and tracheostomy care experience
- Strong critical thinking, leadership, and delegation skills
- Ability to supervise and prioritize patient care in an LTAC setting
Key Responsibilities — Long-Term Acute Care Nurse
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to LTAC patients using the Nursing Process
- Monitor telemetry and manage complex patients with ventilators and tracheostomies
- Apply clinical judgment to anticipate and ensure safe delivery of care
- Maintain and enhance clinical competencies through ongoing education
- Delegate tasks and supervise assigned personnel according to staff education and experience
- Ensure compliance with the state Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and LTAC protocols
