• Shift: 8 Hour Days (08:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40 (Guaranteed 35 hours)

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Active PTA certification/licensure (or eligible for Maryland state licensure)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in an inpatient or hospital setting
• Ability to work independently under indirect supervision from licensed Physical Therapists
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
• Comfortable with documentation of patient progress in electronic medical records

Responsibilities (Hospital PTA / Inpatient Rehabilitation)

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for inpatient rehabilitation
• Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and interventions to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery
• Document patient progress, treatment notes, and outcomes in the medical record
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to support discharge planning and patient goals
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and patient-centered environment; educate patients and families on home exercise programs and rehabilitation goals
