Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,750 - $2,890 (competitive travel nursing pay)
• Position: Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Cath Lab RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Cardiology
• Location: Olathe, KS 66061 (Kansas travel nursing, Olathe nursing jobs)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 10, 2026 – August 9, 2026)
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts (07:00 – 17:30), 4 days/week
• Weekend & Holiday Requirements: Required based on unit needs
• On-Call: 1-2 times/week and every 3rd–4th weekend
• Floating: Will float to Cath / IR / EP units as needed (Electrophysiology & Interventional Radiology)
• Orientation: Comprehensive orientation provided at KU campus and Olathe facility

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience required (cardiac catheterization experience preferred)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to float to Cath / IR / EP units as needed
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and participate in on-call rotations
• New graduates not accepted for this position

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures (cardiac catheterization, stenting, angioplasty)
• Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies during procedures; support hemodynamic monitoring and sedation management
• Collaborate with interventional cardiology, EP, IR, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to Interventional Radiology (IR) and Electrophysiology (EP) units as needed
• Participate in on-call rotations and work scheduled weekends/holidays
• Maintain accurate documentation, EMR charting, and adhere to facility protocols and quality standards
