• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,470 – $1,580
• Location: Waldorf, MD 20602 (Southern Maryland occupational therapy jobs)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 13, 2026)
• Shift: 8 Hour Days (08:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40 (Guaranteed 35 hours)
• Employment Type: Travel Occupational Therapist, On-Site, Long-Term Care (LTC)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar setting
• Active Maryland OT license or eligibility for Maryland licensure (OT licensure in MD)
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Ability to work independently as a travel OT and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary long-term care team
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment programs for long-term care residents
• Promote functional independence, ADL training, and improved quality of life through therapeutic interventions
• Document resident progress and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, speech and physical therapists, and other team members to ensure comprehensive LTC care
• Educate residents and families on therapy goals, adaptive techniques, and safe home/resident care strategies
