Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift Travel Contract in Odessa, TX. Join our travel healthcare team on a 13-week assignment (May 5 – Aug 4, 2026) with competitive weekly pay and the chance to deliver critical respiratory care in West Texas.
Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,500 – $1,620
- Location: Odessa, TX 79761 (Midland–Odessa area)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 5, 2026 – August 4, 2026)
- Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 – 07:15)
- Employment Type: Travel Respiratory Therapist, On-Site
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Allowed)
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); CRT not accepted
- Must hold valid RRT credential and be eligible for required state licensure
- Certification in Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics required
- Travel healthcare experience preferred (travel respiratory therapist jobs)
- Experience with Cerner electronic charting system preferred
- Resume required at submission
- Applicants must reside outside a 50-mile radius from Odessa, TX
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care for adult med/surg, adult critical care, and general pediatric patients
- Perform assessments, therapeutic treatments, airway management, and interventions as ordered by physicians
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner and adhere to hospital charting standards
- Follow facility protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices
- Participate in orientation, competency validation, and ongoing training during the travel contract
