- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
- Location: Columbia, SC (zip 29204) — Hospital MRI / Acute Care Hospital
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,830 – $1,970
- Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (Thursday – Saturday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- On-Call: No
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, Saturday only
- Floating: No
- Charting: Epic (preferred)
- Scrub Colors: Black, Teal, or Grey
- Parking: Free on-site
Required Qualifications & Certifications
- Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience in a hospital or outpatient setting
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology
- Current ARRT (MR) certification (required)
- Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
- South Carolina state license (must be active prior to start) — South Carolina MRI jobs requirement
- Hands-on experience with Siemens Espree MRI scanner (required)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in a clinical environment
- Familiarity with age-specific patient care criteria (neonate through geriatrics)
- First-time travel MRI technologists are welcome
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations for patients across the lifespan (neonate through geriatrics)
- Operate and optimize Siemens Espree MRI scanner and associated MRI equipment
- Prepare and administer contrast media per protocol and document contrast usage
- Ensure accurate image post-processing, archiving, and documentation in Epic
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent patient care
- Maintain compliance with MRI safety standards, infection control, and hospital policies
- Keep certifications and state licensure current; proactively renew credentials as required
- Participate in emergency response procedures as needed (including hurricane season preparedness)
