Travel Nurse Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse / Travel RN)
• Location: Olive Branch, MS 38654 — Near Memphis, TN (Mississippi nursing jobs, Olive Branch RN jobs)
• Setting: Short Term Acute Care — Level I Trauma Center (Emergency Department)
• Start Date: 5/4/2026 or 5/18/2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 3 x 12-hour Nights (19:00 - 07:00) — Night shift travel RN
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,860 – $1,960

ER RN Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience (3+ years preferred)
• At least one completed previous travel assignment (travel nurse experience preferred)
• Active RN license in Mississippi or Compact RN license
• Driver’s license must be included with submission
• Level I Trauma experience required; large hospital/trauma center experience preferred
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Current BLS certification (must remain valid throughout assignment)
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility (no local travelers)
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with application
• Willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays if assignment overlaps with Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s
• Compliance with NLC guidelines required

Emergency Department Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department / ER
• Rapid assessment and intervention for trauma and critical care patients in a Level I Trauma Center
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, techs) to optimize patient outcomes
• Accurate, timely documentation of patient care using Cerner (preferred)
• Float between like units and campuses within 20 miles as needed
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage when required
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and compliance standards
