• Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Case Volume: Average 6 cases/day; 3 ORs, all cardiac procedures except transplants

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent CVOR / cardiovascular surgical tech experience
• NBSTSA certification (required)
• Valid Allied license for Oklahoma or Compact state (must be in-hand at submission)
• Ability to take call and respond within 30 minutes
• First-time travel surgical techs encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in a wide range of cardiac and vascular surgical procedures, including CABG, ECMO, TAVR, TCAR, EVAR, and lung resections
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field using strict aseptic technique for all CVOR cases
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment such as robotic systems and ventricular assist devices
• Collaborate with surgeons, circulating nurses, perfusionists, and the perioperative team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Float to similar surgical units as needed based on facility requirements
• Complete required orientation, competency checks, and on-site modules during onboarding
