• Shift: 12 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) with weekend and holiday rotation
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
• Start Date: 04/07/2026
• End Date: 07/07/2026

Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN License
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (education verification required)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
• TNCC or TNS certification
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room / Emergency Department RN experience

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care using the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Triage and assess patients presenting to the ED; perform focused assessments and prioritize care in a fast-paced ER environment
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures
• Document care accurately and timely in accordance with standards, regulations, and electronic health record (EHR) requirements
• Perform assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care; develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and care coordination as appropriate
• Participate in department performance improvement, unit practice activities, and peer review
• Use clinical expertise to support other units and departments as needed and escalate patient safety concerns appropriately
• Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain best practices in emergency nursing
