Travel X-Ray Tech Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150 – $2,310
• Location: Vineland, NJ 08360 (South Jersey / Cumberland County)
• Setting: Hospital radiology department
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: April 27, 2026
• Hours per Week: 40 (10-hour day shifts)
• Shifts per Week: 4
• Employment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist, On-Site

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist (hospital setting preferred)
• Valid ARRT certification or equivalent state radiography licensure
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Ability to work 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week
• Strong communication, patient care, and teamwork skills for hospital radiology
• Familiarity with digital radiography (DR) systems and PACS preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures as ordered by physicians (chest, extremity, abdomen, portable X-ray)
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, DR systems, and digital image acquisition to hospital standards
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and radiation protection using ALARA principles
• Accurately document exams and maintain patient records in PACS/RIS
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient care
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and regulatory standards for radiology
