Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 6, 2026 – August 5, 2026)
• Setting: 4-Medical, 21-bed unit (acute/intermediate care telemetry)
• Shifts: Nights — 3x12 hour nights (18:45 – 07:15)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend and as needed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 – $1,770
• Location: Alabaster, AL 35007 (Shelby County, near Birmingham)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, NCI, CPI
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Ability to float to similar units and facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed
• Availability to work every 3rd weekend and adapt to flexible scheduling
• Must adhere to navy scrub dress code

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to adult patients in an acute and intermediate telemetry setting
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry readings, identify rhythm changes, and respond promptly to clinical alarms
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document patient care thoroughly and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Float to like units as needed to support patient care across the facility and nearby locations
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and dress code
