• Healthcare Setting: Hospital Operating Room (OR), high-acuity service lines
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: April 19, 2026
• End Date: July 18, 2026
• Shift: Two 12-hour shifts (07:00 AM–07:30 PM) and two 8-hour shifts (07:00 AM–03:30 PM) per week
• Hours per Week: 36

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent Surgical Tech experience in a hospital/OR setting
• Strong cardiac/CVOR surgical tech experience required (cardiac, vascular, thoracic cases)
• Certified Surgical Technician (CVOR) credential required (keywords: CST, CVOR, Certified Surgical Technologist)
• Ability to participate in cardiac/vascular/thoracic call every 3rd week (Monday to Monday)
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings and background checks
• Valid Driver's License or State ID
• Submission of skills checklist and documentation of OR competencies

Responsibilities

• Assist scrub and circulator teams during cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field; ensure proper surgical instrumentation and supplies
• Support daily staffing needs across multiple service lines when specialty cases are not scheduled
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, perioperative nurses, anesthesia, and other clinical staff to promote optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in the on-call rotation every 3rd week and respond to urgent surgical needs as required
• Document perioperative care and maintain compliance with hospital OR policies and safety protocols
