Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in Ohio
• Minimum 1 year of recent hospital respiratory therapy experience
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza, Physical/Health Statement, Fit Test, 2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Successful completion of background checks and competency exams
• Driver's License or State ID
• Ability to reliably work 12-hour day shifts

Key Responsibilities – Respiratory Care & Clinical Duties

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care and therapy to hospital patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and document patient respiratory care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments, including oxygen therapy and ventilator support as appropriate
• Perform airway management and support clinical procedures in accordance with hospital protocols
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital policy and quality standards
• Participate in unit competency and skills assessments and complete required competency exams
• Provide patient-centered care and clear communication with patients, families, and care teams
