Charting / EMR: EPIC (preferred)
Orientation: 16 hours
Weekend Coverage: As scheduled

Qualifications / Job Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist (radiation oncology experience preferred)
ARRT (T) certification required
BLS certification required
South Carolina state license required (will hire with pending SC license)
Experience with EPIC or similar charting systems preferred
COVID-19 and flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
First-time travel therapists are welcome

Key Responsibilities

Deliver radiation therapy treatments to adult and geriatric patients in a hospital setting
Operate advanced treatment and simulation equipment including TrueBeam STx, TrueBeam, and Somatom CT Sim / CT simulator
Perform custom molds, shields, tumor localization, and treatment setup
Calculate and administer prescribed radiation doses following physician directives
Maintain accurate patient treatment records and documentation in EPIC
Adhere to radiation safety protocols, QA procedures, and isolation precautions
Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and interdisciplinary care teams
Participate in scheduled weekend coverage as needed
