Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,830 – $3,040
- Setting: Hospital – Interventional Radiology Department (Neuro/IR)
- Shift: 4x10-hour days (07:00 – 17:30); may rotate to 5x8s as needed
- Call: 2 days per week, every third weekend (30-minute response time)
- Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Charting System: Epic

Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year recent Neuro Interventional Radiology experience required (2 years preferred)
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Ohio Radiologic License (pending license accepted)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
- Strong knowledge of neuro and vascular anatomy, radiation protection, exposure, positioning, physics, and medical terminology
- Travel assignment experience required; must reside more than 100 miles from Columbus, OH (43215) to be eligible
- Willingness to assist in training permanent staff and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Neuro Interventional Radiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures including cerebral aneurysm coilings, AVM embolizations, and acute stroke interventions
- Scrub and circulate for a wide range of neuro and vascular procedures: angioplasty, carotid/cerebral angiography, embolization, stent placement, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, vertebroplasty, and more
- Operate and maintain angiographic fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and CT equipment (e.g., Siemens IR lab, GE Ultrasound)
- Manage inventory for the IR lab (1,500+ products) and ensure procedural supplies are available and tracked
- Support oncology and vascular-interventional procedures such as biopsies, chemoembolizations, Y-90 therapies, uterine artery embolizations, venous lysis, infusion pump placements, and radiofrequency ablations
- Maintain strict sterile technique, set up procedural suites, and ensure equipment is properly cleaned and functioning
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend coverage
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, trauma-level hospital environment and collaborate with IV teams, PT, RT, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
