• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (No weekends or on-call)
• Shift: 8-hour days, 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 – $2,090 (competitive pay for travel echo techs)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an Echo Tech or Cardiac Sonographer (adult experience required; pediatric preferred)
• Registered by CCI (RCS) or ARDMS (RDCS) — required (Registered Cardiac Sonographer / Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer)
• BLS certification from AHA — required
• EPIC charting experience within the last 12 months (must be detailed on resume/profile)
• Ability to perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) independently
• Experience with Philips CVx and ISCV (formerly Xcelera) preferred
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered for COVID-19 only)
• Compact license or Tennessee state license required at time of submission
• Professional references required

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex echocardiograms (TTE) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) for adult patients (pediatric echo experience a plus)
• Operate echocardiography systems (Philips CVx, ISCV/Xcelera experience preferred) and maintain image quality and measurements
• Document exam findings accurately and timely in EPIC / electronic health record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Float to other units as needed and participate in orientation and competency evaluations
• Maintain patient safety, infection control standards, and professional echocardiography protocols
