Job Details – ER Nurse / Travel RN

• Location: Rangely, Colorado (81648) – Rio Blanco County, Western Colorado
• Setting: Emergency Room (ED) & Swing Bed Unit
• Start Date: April 28, 2026
• End Date: July 28, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (travel contract)
• Shift: Night Shift – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Contract Nurse – Emergency Department Nurse

Required Qualifications – ER RN

• Active RN license in Colorado or current Compact RN license (or eligibility for Colorado licensure)
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience working in an Emergency Department / ER setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred (advanced cardiac and pediatric emergency care)
• Strong critical thinking, triage, and emergency assessment skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities – Emergency Department Nurse

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room and Swing Bed Unit, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
• Rapidly assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute, emergent, and chronic conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions per provider orders and ED protocols
• Collaborate closely with physicians, mid-level providers, and allied health staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and discharge instructions
• Educate patients and families on care plans, follow-up, and community resources available in Rangely
