Job Details

• Position: Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN), Internal Medicine / Primary Care – Travel RN
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,010 (competitive travel nursing pay)
• Location: Oak Bluffs, MA 02557 – Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts nursing job
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 2, 2026)
• Hours: 40 hours per week, guaranteed
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm or 8:30am–5:00pm (No nights, weekends, or holidays)
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel assignment (Outpatient)
• Shared Housing: Available (no pets or guests)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in primary care, outpatient internal medicine, or ambulatory care preferred
• Current flu vaccine required; up-to-date immunizations (MMR, TB test) as part of onboarding
• Valid driver’s license and car required for local transportation
• Submission of resume, professional references, and completed skills checklist
• Completion of onboarding health and background requirements (Health Statement, Criminal Background Check, CORI, education verification, etc.)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient nursing care in an internal medicine / primary care clinic
• Perform patient assessments, take vital signs, administer medications and injections, and complete wound care
• Support medication reconciliation, immunizations, and preventive care initiatives
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on chronic disease management, preventive health, and self-care
• Maintain accurate electronic medical record (EHR) documentation and ensure regulatory and compliance standards are met
