• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,690 – $1,820
• Setting: Hospital (West Florida Division) – Echocardiography / Cardiology Department
• Shift: 8-hour days (07:00 – 15:30)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer in a hospital or clinical setting (echocardiography experience required)
• Current certification preferred: ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) – active credentials required by facility
• State licensure if applicable and required by Florida regulations
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
• Compliance with hospital dress code (Radiology: black scrubs)
• BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), Doppler studies, and related diagnostic echocardiography procedures as ordered by physicians
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound and echocardiography equipment following established protocols and quality assurance standards
• Accurately document, archive, and communicate findings to the cardiology team and electronic medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
• Provide patient education and ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
• Adhere to hospital policies, scheduling requirements, and weekend/holiday rotations
