• Shift: 8 Hour Days (08:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40 (Guaranteed 35 hours per week)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as an Occupational Therapist in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar rehabilitation setting
• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain MA licensure
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) or related field
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and ability to develop individualized treatment plans
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team (nursing, PT, SLP, physicians)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess residents’ functional status and occupational therapy needs
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions to improve safety, mobility, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide adaptive equipment recommendations and training to residents, families, and staff
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and case managers to ensure coordinated care
• Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and discharge planning in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
• Participate in care conferences, restorative programs, and quality improvement initiatives for long-term care residents
