Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,600 - $2,790
• Location: Hospital, Nantucket, MA (02554) — travel MRI technologist position
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 8, 2026)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour days)
• Hours: 40 hours/week, with possible on-call rotation
• Setting: Hospital Imaging Unit / Radiology Department

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience; GE MRI experience required
• Valid ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hospital imaging/radiology environment
• Completion of required onboarding health and background screenings

Responsibilities

• Operate GE MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patient care
• Perform MRI procedures for outpatient, inpatient, and clinic patients across general specialties
• Conduct patient screening, MRI safety checks, and patient positioning to ensure comfort and image quality
• Select and follow MRI protocols and assist with protocol optimization when needed
• Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and timely PACS uploads
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support diagnostic services
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed for the hospital imaging unit
