• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Location: Lamar, Colorado 81052 — Colorado nursing job / travel nurse opportunity
• Setting: Birthing Center / Labor & Delivery Unit (maternal-child health)
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00am – 7:00pm)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,030 – $3,190
• Employment Type: Travel, On-site — travel nursing position

Required Qualifications — Labor & Delivery RN

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license (active)
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM)
• STABLE and NRP Instructor certifications
• Minimum 5 years of obstetrics nursing and neonatal experience (L&D and newborn care)
• Prior leadership or charge RN experience preferred
• Bi-lingual skills helpful (Spanish-English preferred)

Key Responsibilities — L&D / Obstetrics Nurse

• Provide interim supervisory support to the Birthing Center Manager and act as a clinical resource
• Support daily operations and ensure smooth patient care delivery in the labor & delivery unit
• Implement and reinforce established policies, clinical protocols, and quality standards
• Deliver staff education, orientation support, and competency validation as needed
• Promote compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements
• Serve as a clinical and operational resource for staff and leadership on maternal and neonatal care
• Participate in nursing rotation and provide direct patient care including labor support, delivery assistance, postpartum and newborn assessments
