• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
• Location: Allentown, PA 18103 (Lehigh Valley)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 10, 2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 12-hour (07:00 – 19:30)
• Hours per Week: 36

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room (OR) RN or perioperative nursing experience
• Experience in Level I Trauma and Ambulatory OR preferred
• Must have experience in General OR cases
• Both scrub and circulate experience required (scrub nurse / circulating nurse)
• Travel RN experience required
• Valid Pennsylvania RN license or compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic electronic health record (EHR) charting experience required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must complete labs within 48 hours of signing
• Pennsylvania fingerprints (PA fingerprinting) required

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for patients of all ages including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Scrub and circulate for a wide range of surgical procedures including trauma, robotic-assisted cases, orthopedic, gynecologic, and general surgery
• Perform sterile technique, proper surgical instrumentation handling, specimen labeling, and accurate chain-of-custody where applicable
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
• Maintain infection control practices and adhere to universal protocols and surgical safety checklists
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Utilize Epic EHR for timely, accurate documentation and perioperative charting
• Attend orientation, complete required modules, and maintain required competencies for the assignment
