• Facility: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital
• Job Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN (13-week contract)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (3 shifts per week)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,840 – $1,940

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification (required prior to first shift)
• ACLS certification (required prior to first shift)
• Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience
• ICU or critical care experience required

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital policies and safety protocols
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission
• Communicate changes in patient status to the care team to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in team conferences and contribute to a positive, efficient work environment
• Assume charge responsibilities as needed after orientation
