Job Details

• Location: Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 (onsite hospital position)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 19, 2026 – August 18, 2026)
• Schedule: 4 shifts x 10 hours = 40 hrs/week, rotating call schedule
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,830 – $1,970
• Housing: Newly remodeled, fully furnished studio and one-bedroom apartments available near the hospital (subject to availability)
• Facility: Level III trauma center with robotics and multi-specialty ORs (ortho, neuro/spine, robotics, trauma)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist in a hospital or OR setting (Surgical Tech, OR Tech)
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist/scrub technologist program
• Certification in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA CST, AST, or NCCT)
• Active Colorado Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) license with DORA (required)
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Clinical experience with ortho/total joints, neuro/spine, robotics, urology, GYN, ENT, plastics, and trauma cases
• Must meet travel radius requirement (candidate must live at least 75 miles from facility)

Responsibilities (Surgical Tech / OR Responsibilities)

• Assist surgeons and OR team in a wide range of surgical procedures including robotics, orthopedics, neuro/spine, trauma, OB-GYN, ENT, plastics, and urology
• Prepare and maintain operating rooms, instruments, and sterile trays; ensure sterile field and instrument counts
• Set up specialized equipment for robotic-assisted surgery and advanced instrumentation
• Collaborate with circulating nurses, surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative staff to deliver safe patient care
• Participate in rotating call schedule and respond to urgent/trauma cases as needed
• Follow strict infection control, safety, and OR protocol standards
