Travel Labor & Delivery RN – Boston, MA (02115). 13-week travel nursing assignment starting May 18, 2026 caring for mothers and newborns in inpatient OB, Antepartum/Postpartum.

- Assignment Type: Travel Nurse (W2)
- Unit: CWN 8 Post/Antepartum
- Start Date: May 18, 2026
- End Date: August 16, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 3x12 hour shifts per week, rotating days/nights (discuss cadence with hiring manager)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
- Employment Type: W2 Travel Nurse
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient OB experience (Labor & Delivery or Antepartum)
- Active RN license (eligible to work in Massachusetts/compact license as required)
- RN Labor and Delivery certification preferred
- Ability to work every other weekend (EOW)
- Compliance with onboarding requirements (background check, health screenings, etc.)
- BLS certification (current)
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive maternal-newborn nursing care in Labor & Delivery, Antepartum and Postpartum units
- Assess and monitor mothers and newborns including fetal monitoring and newborn evaluations to ensure safety and comfort
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (OB/GYN, neonatal, anesthesia, and support staff) to deliver high-quality perinatal care
- Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR) in a timely manner
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum care, and discharge instructions
- Respond promptly to emergencies, follow hospital protocols, and support C-section and assisted delivery workflows as needed
