Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150 – $2,310
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (Mon–Fri, 07:30 – 17:30; shifts may extend based on patient volume)
• Hours per Week: 40

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist (radiation oncology experience preferred)
• Proficiency with Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator (required)
• ARRT (T) certification required and current BLS
• Epic charting experience within the last 12 months (must be detailed on profile; additional orientation if not met)
• Previous travel experience required — familiarity with travel radiation therapist roles is preferred
• Valid Tennessee license or Compact State License
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions for COVID-19 only)

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments to adult and geriatric patients using Varian TrueBeam and other linear accelerators
• Perform daily chart checks, patient/family teaching, and maintain radiation safety and QA standards
• Provide care for cancer-related diagnoses including IMRT, SRS, and external beam therapy
• Utilize Epic for accurate charting, documentation, and treatment verification
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary oncology teams including Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists, Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, and Social Services
• Maintain isolation precautions, proper PPE use, and safe handling protocols
• Float within the department as needed to meet patient care needs
