Travel PICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Lebanon, NH | 13-week travel nursing assignment for pediatric critical care nurses in the Upper Valley. Job Details
- Location: Lebanon, New Hampshire (Upper Valley) – zip code 03756
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 8, 2026)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 – $2,370 (competitive travel RN pay)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Unit: CHaD - Inpatient Unit (18 beds: 4 PICU, 3 Step Down, 11 Pediatric Med/Surg)
- Employment Type: Travel (Travel RN / Travel Nurse)
- Setting: On-site pediatric care, PICU / pediatric ICU
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state RN license required)
- At least 1 year of recent pediatric or PICU nursing experience required (pediatric critical care nurse / PICU RN)
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including days and nights
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to float to pediatric med/surg or ICN as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU, step-down, and pediatric med/surg settings
- Monitor and assess pediatric patients, administer medications, and perform nursing interventions as required
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapists, case management) to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Respond to changes in patient condition and provide pediatric critical care interventions when needed
- Float to other pediatric units or ICN based on census and staffing needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection control practices
