Job Details

  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 - $2,500
  • Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 5/11/2026, End: 8/8/2026)
  • Shift: 8-hour days (07:00-15:30), Day/Night rotation, 36 guaranteed hours/week
  • Setting: Hematology/Oncology Inpatient Unit (Med-Surg RN / Oncology RN)
  • On-call: Yes (participate in on-call rotation)
  • Employment Type: Travel RN, On-site
  • Location: Lebanon, NH – Upper Valley region (New Hampshire nursing jobs / New England travel nurse)

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact license accepted where applicable)
  • Minimum 1 year recent Med-Surg or Hematology/Oncology RN experience (Med-Surg RN / Oncology RN)
  • Clinical experience with chest tubes, drips (e.g., Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, amiodarone), and management of lines/tubes/drains preferred
  • Proficiency with trachs/laryngectomies, telemetry monitoring, complex wound care, central line care/maintenance, and blood draws
  • Ability to administer chemotherapy and manage oncology-related side effects (chemo administration experience required)
  • BLS certification required; Oncology/chemotherapy certification (e.g., OCN, chemo certification) or ACLS preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive Med-Surg and oncology nursing care to patients with lymphoma, leukemia, ovarian cancer, and other solid and hematologic malignancies
  • Safely prepare and administer chemotherapy and supportive infusions; monitor and manage adverse reactions
  • Assess and manage central lines, chest tubes, drains, and post-surgical care for oncology patients
  • Perform blood draws, medication administration, and maintain accurate, timely patient documentation
  • Monitor telemetry and respond to cardiac or clinical changes; provide complex wound care
  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, infusion teams, and multidisciplinary staff to coordinate patient-centered care
  • Participate in on-call rotation and support unit staffing needs as a Travel Nurse/Travel RN
