Key Qualifications (Oncology RN Requirements)

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Oncology specialty preferred). Must meet Massachusetts state licensing requirements for travel assignments.
• Minimum 1 year of recent oncology nursing experience (chemotherapy/infusion experience preferred)
• Strong clinical skills in oncology care, symptom management, and patient education
• Willingness to participate in procedures and training opportunities as available
• Compliance with onboarding requirements (background check, health screenings, education verification, etc.)

Responsibilities – Oncology Nursing Duties

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based oncology care to adult patients in inpatient/outpatient settings
• Administer chemotherapy and other oncology medications safely; monitor infusion therapy and manage adverse reactions
• Assess and document patient status, maintain accurate medical records, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, symptom management, and discharge instructions
• Participate in clinical procedures, staff training, and unit-based quality improvement initiatives
