Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1920 - $2060
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 25, 2026 – August 22, 2026)
• Setting: Rehabilitation unit (inpatient rehabilitation / rehab therapy)
• Shift: 8-hour days (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40 (Guaranteed 35 hours)

Job Requirements

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) certification
• At least 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation or hospital setting (inpatient rehab experience preferred)
• Current state OT license or ability to obtain Massachusetts licensure
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills (EMR experience a plus)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and patient-centered rehab services

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans following functional assessments
• Deliver therapeutic interventions focused on improving mobility, ADLs (activities of daily living), upper-extremity function, and independence
• Implement evidence-based rehab therapy techniques and adaptive strategies to optimize patient outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and discharge planning
• Document patient progress, functional goals, and treatment plan modifications in the medical record
• Educate patients and families on home programs, adaptive equipment, and strategies for continued recovery
