• Shifts: Friday–Sunday, 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,690 – $1,810 (competitive weekly pay for respiratory therapist jobs)
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Respiratory Therapist license (required)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (NBRC) preferred
• Current certifications: NRP, PALS, ACLS, and BLS
• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting (hospital respiratory care experience)
• Experience with ventilator management, arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, oxygen therapy, and airway management preferred
• Ability to work Friday–Sunday night shifts
• Must be able to wear navy blue scrubs

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care and clinical interventions to patients in the hospital Respiratory Care Unit
• Manage mechanical ventilation and ventilator adjustments per physician orders and unit protocols
• Perform respiratory assessments, ABG interpretation, aerosolized medication treatments, and airway management
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of respiratory therapies, ventilator parameters, and patient responses
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide critical respiratory interventions as needed
