• Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) / Travel Respiratory Therapist
• Setting: Hospital – Level II Trauma Center
• Unit: Respiratory Therapy
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00–07:00) – Night Shift Respiratory Therapist
• Hours per Week: 36
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,220 – $1,310
• Start Date: April 8, 2026
• End Date: July 8, 2026

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NRP or STABLE certification required (neonatal/pediatric experience a plus)
• Minimum 1 year recent hospital-based respiratory therapy experience; ICU or critical care respiratory therapist experience preferred
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred; accurate clinical documentation skills required
• Experience in ventilator management, pulmonary care, and emergency response preferred
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care and pulmonary support to patients in a 383-bed hospital setting
• Operate and manage advanced respiratory equipment including Servo I, GE ventilators, V60, Airvo, and Vapotherm
• Perform ventilator setup, weaning, arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis support, and non-invasive ventilation therapies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nurses, physicians, RTs) to assess, plan, and implement patient care plans
• Document all patient care activities accurately in Meditech EMR and maintain compliance with hospital policies
• Participate in patient rounds, respond to code/emergency situations, and provide clinical support for trauma and critical care patients
