Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490 – $2,670 (competitive pay for travel technologist)
- Location: Tucson, AZ 85741 — Arizona cath lab job / Tucson radiology jobs
- Setting: Hospital – Cardiac Cath Lab (Cath Lab Tech / Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (4/27/2026 – 7/27/2026)
- Shift: 4x10 hour days (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- On Call: 9–10 shifts/month and 1 weekend
- Employment Type: Travel Contract – travel radiologic technologist / cath lab travel job
Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required (Cath Lab Tech experience)
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required (RCIS not accepted)
- Proven experience with sterile technique and scrubbing cath lab procedures (angiogram, PCI, complex CTO, L main, PFO, device implants, PE thrombectomy, IR and peripheral cases)
- STEMI coverage experience required
- Experience with Impella and IABP devices preferred
- Structural Heart / TAVR / Mitral procedures experience preferred but not required
- Ability to monitor and record on MacLab (willing to train)
- Familiarity with inventory management and restocking cath lab procedure rooms
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and monitor cardiac catheterization lab procedures, maintaining strict sterile technique
- Assist physicians and the multidisciplinary team with invasive procedures including angiography, PCI, device implants, and complex interventional cases
- Provide timely STEMI coverage and rapid response during emergent cath lab activations
- Operate and assist with mechanical circulatory support devices such as Impella and IABP
- Monitor and document procedures using MacLab and other cath lab monitoring systems
- Maintain cath lab supplies, track products, and restock procedure rooms to support efficient workflow
- Communicate effectively with nursing, physicians, and allied health staff to deliver high-quality patient care
