SLP Travel Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 13, 2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital (inpatient SLP role)
• Location: North Adams, MA 01247 — Berkshires, Western Massachusetts
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour days)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel SLP / Contract
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,220 – $2,380
• Quick Start Bonus: $2,000

Required Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification/license required (state SLP license; ASHA CCC-SLP preferred)
• At least 1 year of experience as an SLP (hospital/inpatient experience preferred)
• Ability to work full-time, on-site for the travel assignment
• Strong communication, clinical documentation, and organizational skills
• Passion for patient-centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognition, communication, and swallowing disorders (including dysphagia) in hospital patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and evidence-based interventions
• Provide bedside and therapy-based services for inpatient populations, including patients with stroke, traumatic brain injury, neurogenic disorders, and medically complex conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational and physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Perform timely clinical documentation, progress notes, and discharge planning to meet hospital and payer requirements
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, carryover strategies, and home programs to support continued progress
