Job Details

• Location: Peabody, MA (01960) — Northeast, near Boston, Massachusetts healthcare jobs
• Setting: Emergency Department (Level I Trauma Center)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (4/27/2026 – 7/25/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights; every other weekend; 2 holiday shifts required
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed (72 hours biweekly)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470 – $2,600 (travel RN pay range)
• Float: May float between Peabody and main campus

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience; Level I trauma experience required (trauma nurse preferred)
• Active Massachusetts RN license (compact license not accepted unless MA active)
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA); PALS or ENPC (equivalency); TNCC
• Epic (EMR) experience required for documentation and medication administration
• Must be separated from BILH for at least 6 months to be considered
• Day 1 pass/fail clinical test administered during orientation (study guides provided)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients presenting with medical emergencies and trauma
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, stabilization, and emergency interventions in a fast-paced ED environment
• Manage trauma resuscitations and participate in multidisciplinary trauma team responses
• Document patient care, assessments, and medication administration using Epic (EMR)
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, RN colleagues, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Float between Peabody and main campus as needed and maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
