  • Shift: Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 4x12hr (48 hours/week)
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,290 – $2,410
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery / OB nursing experience (high-acuity L&D preferred)
  • Proven fetal monitoring experience (electronic fetal monitoring / strip interpretation)
  • Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred (travel RN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire (or compact multistate RN license where applicable)
  • Current certifications in BLS (AHA), AWHONN, and NRP — must be in hand at submission
  • Labor & Delivery skills checklist completed within the past year
  • One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment
  • Permanent address required in submission (candidate must live 50+ miles from facility to qualify)

Responsibilities – Labor & Delivery / OB Nursing

  • Provide comprehensive L&D care from patient admission through discharge, including triage, labor support, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans for maternity and obstetric patients
  • Manage high-risk pregnancies and complications, including preterm labor, hypertension, diabetes, VBAC, and maternal-fetal concerns
  • Monitor fetal well-being, interpret fetal heart tracings, and respond to emergent obstetric situations
  • Assist with procedures such as amniocentesis, epidural monitoring, and neonatal resuscitation support
  • Provide patient and family education, including childbirth education and postpartum teaching
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, neonatology, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Accurately document nursing care, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record
