Job Details

• Location: Fort Pierce, FL 34950 (Treasure Coast, Florida travel job)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Setting: Hospital – Main Building, 1st Floor (hospital echocardiography)
• Shift: 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM (10-hour evening shifts, no overnight shifts)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,690 – $1,820
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call Requirements: 3–7 nights per month (stat/ emergency echo coverage)
• Dress Code: Ciel blue scrubs

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience performing echocardiograms across neonate to geriatric populations
• Proven ability to function independently in a fast-paced, fluid hospital environment
• Proficiency completing studies in under 45 minutes while maintaining image quality
• Previous travel echocardiography or travel healthcare experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform complete 2D transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and supplemental studies using GE ultrasound equipment
• Document and report findings accurately using Meditech Expanse electronic medical record
• Provide high-quality cardiac imaging for a diverse patient population (neonate to geriatric)
• Respond to and take call for emergency/stat echocardiograms as required
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient care
• Maintain a focused 1:1 patient ratio to ensure individualized imaging and patient safety
