Job Details — Travel Radiology Job in Charleston, South Carolina
- Position: Travel Radiology Technologist / Rad Tech (OR Technologist, Intraoperative Imaging)
- Location: Charleston, SC 29425 — Charleston radiology jobs / South Carolina travel healthcare jobs
- Facility Setting: Main OR and Rutledge Tower (Outpatient OR)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
- Shift: 3 x 12-hour days (Saturday, Sunday, Monday; 7:00am – 7:30pm)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,420 – $1,530 (competitive pay for travel technologists)
- On-Call: Call rotation required (3–4 days/month) — emergency and trauma imaging
- Floating: May float to other buildings on the same campus as needed
- Parking: Convenient nights & weekends parking (one-time $20 pass)
Job Requirements — Radiology Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year recent Radiology Technologist experience; OR and mobile C-arm intraoperative imaging experience required
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Active South Carolina Radiologic Technologist license (SCRQSA (R)) or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Must provide own radiation badge (agency must supply; facility does not provide badges to travelers)
- O-arm and advanced trauma imaging experience preferred but not required
- Ability to float within campus buildings as needed
- Must participate in call rotation and respond to emergency imaging needs (trauma imaging, intraoperative fluoroscopy)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Key Responsibilities — OR & Trauma Imaging
- Perform high-quality diagnostic and intraoperative imaging in the OR, including mobile C-arm and fluoroscopy-assisted procedures
- Support Main OR and Outpatient OR (Rutledge Tower) and assist in additional imaging areas across the campus
- Follow all radiation safety, infection prevention, and OR protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Respond promptly when on call for emergency and trauma imaging needs
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma environment
