Job Details – Travel OR RN / Perioperative RN

• Location: Columbus, OH 43210 (Columbus healthcare / Ohio nursing jobs)
• Facility: Level 1 Trauma Center, 18-bed Operating Room
• Assignment Type: Travel Contract – Travel OR RN / Surgical RN
• Start Date: June 1, 2026
• End Date: August 31, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours/week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,050 – $2,160

Required Qualifications – Operating Room RN / OR RN

• Minimum 2 years recent Operating Room RN experience with extensive scrub and circulating experience
• Experience in Level 1 Trauma Centers preferred (trauma surgical nursing)
• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license) — Ohio nursing jobs candidates welcome
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record (EPIC charting)
• Graduate of an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Willingness to float to other units within the organization as needed
• Two professional references (one from a manager, director, or direct supervisor)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

Primary Responsibilities – Perioperative / Surgical RN

• Provide comprehensive perioperative care across a wide variety of surgical specialties, acting as both scrub nurse and circulating nurse when needed
• Support cases including General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant surgeries
• Focus on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and complex General Surgery cases
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation using the EPIC system
• Participate in scheduled call coverage and float to other units as required
