Job Details – Travel Surgical Tech / Surgical Technologist

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,030 – $2,190
• Travel Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 1, 2026)
• Shift: 10-hour days
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel / Contract – Surgical Tech (CST)
• On Call: Yes (approx. 2 weeknights and 1 weekend every 6 weeks; 30-minute response time)

Job Requirements – Surgical Tech (Pediatric OR)

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
• Washington State Surgical Tech license (or eligible) required
• Minimum 2 years acute Operating Room experience (high-level experience required if only 2 years; adult + pediatric experience considered)
• First-time travelers must have extensive OR and pediatric experience (5+ years)
• BLS (AHA) Certification required
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
• Highly preferred: Robotics (DaVinci XI), high-level neurosurgery, ophthalmology, dental experience
• Strong perioperative skills: instrument handling, sterile field setup, surgical counts, and time-out procedures

Responsibilities – Pediatric & Adult OR Surgical Tech

• Scrub and assist on a wide range of pediatric and adult surgical cases including trauma, neurosurgery, spine, urology, gynecology, orthopedics, oncology, ENT, general, dental, ophthalmology, and robotic procedures
• Provide perioperative support for procedures in the PICU and NICU as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly for urgent and emergent cases
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a sterile environment, follow hospital protocols, and adhere to surgical safety and infection-control standards
• Document intraoperative events and utilization in EPIC as required
