- Start Date: May 18, 2026
- Shifts: 10-hour days (6:30am – 5:00pm), 4 shifts per week plus on-call rotation
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 – $2,370
- Orientation: Every 2 weeks
- Housing: Shared units available at $600/month (based on availability; no family or pets allowed)
Minimum Qualifications & Certifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (RN)
- Valid, current, full and unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing and/or operating room (OR) experience — perioperative/surgical nurse experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (required throughout employment)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association (required throughout employment)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – AHA (within 6 months of hire)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (within 6 months of hire)
- Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) by CCI (within 1 year of hire) — CNOR is highly preferred for perioperative nurse/OR RN roles
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) (within 2 years of hire)
Key Responsibilities – Perioperative / Surgical Nursing
- Provide comprehensive perioperative care including pre-op assessment, intra-op circulation/scrub support, and post-op evaluation for surgical patients
- Circulate across specialty areas: Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Dental
- Develop scrubbing experience and perioperative technical skills (scrub role highly encouraged)
- Respond to emergency cases and participate in on-call rotation, including varied hours as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and culturally competent care for Navajo and Hopi populations
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies, infection control, and surgical safety protocols
