Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (Finger Lakes)
Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts per week)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Technology: Epic EMR (experience preferred)
Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel RN opportunity

Job Requirements / Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York State or compact)
Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery and post-partum care experience (L&D RN, postpartum nurse)
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
BLS certification required

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and post-partum periods
Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and assist with deliveries and clinical procedures
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Educate patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn health
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
