- Location: Marquette, MI 49855 — Upper Peninsula, near Northern Michigan University
- Role: Hospital Respiratory Therapist / Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Setting: 225-bed Specialty Care Hospital (Heart & Vascular, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric, Women's Health, Pediatrics)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 5/11/2026, End: 8/10/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour Nights (18:00–06:00)
- Hours per Week: 36

Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of hospital experience as an RRT (hospital respiratory therapy experience)
- NICU experience is required — experience with neonatal respiratory support preferred
- Ability to work night shifts (12-hour nights)
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills in multidisciplinary settings
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to patients across specialty units, including NICU, Heart & Vascular, Cancer Center, and Pediatrics
- Perform respiratory assessments, deliver treatments and interventions as prescribed by physicians
- Manage ventilators and provide neonatal ventilator support as part of NICU care
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment and supplies
- Accurately document patient progress, treatments, and outcomes in clinical records
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality pulmonary and neonatal care
- Respond to emergency situations and provide critical respiratory support when needed
