• Role: Hospital Respiratory Therapist / Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Setting: 225-bed Specialty Care Hospital (Heart & Vascular, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric, Women's Health, Pediatrics)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 5/11/2026, End: 8/10/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour Nights (18:00–06:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of hospital experience as an RRT (hospital respiratory therapy experience)
• NICU experience is required — experience with neonatal respiratory support preferred
• Ability to work night shifts (12-hour nights)
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills in multidisciplinary settings

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients across specialty units, including NICU, Heart & Vascular, Cancer Center, and Pediatrics
• Perform respiratory assessments, deliver treatments and interventions as prescribed by physicians
• Manage ventilators and provide neonatal ventilator support as part of NICU care
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment and supplies
• Accurately document patient progress, treatments, and outcomes in clinical records
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality pulmonary and neonatal care
• Respond to emergency situations and provide critical respiratory support when needed
