• Shift: 10-hour days (07:00 AM – 05:30 PM)

• Clinical Setting: High-volume endoscopy suite — 40–56 cases/day across four procedure rooms

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Endoscopy RN or GI endoscopy nursing experience
• Experience administering and monitoring conscious sedation (versed, fentanyl, propofol)
• Ability to manage high-volume caseloads efficiently in a fast-paced endoscopy unit

Responsibilities

• Provide peri-procedural nursing care for GI endoscopic procedures including colonoscopies, EGDs, and liver biopsies
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation; ensure patient safety and airway vigilance throughout procedures
• Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists, procedural techs, and multidisciplinary team members
• Document patient assessments, medication administration, and procedure details accurately and timely
• Ensure infection control, sterile technique, and a clean, organized procedure area
• Support patient education and recovery instructions for post-procedure care
