Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,010 (competitive travel nurse pay)

Patient Ratio: 1:5 (medical-surgical nurse)

Job Requirements (Med/Surg RN Qualifications)

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical (Med/Surg) nursing experience
Current BLS certification
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts as a travel nurse
Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities (Medical-Surgical Nurse)

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a Med/Surg unit
Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to the healthcare team
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following safety protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation (EMR charting)
Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up
